Today when I'm checking my RSS, I saw a post on Designboom, introducing a music software, the interface is just like Fl studio, which is right to my taste. I like the concept of dragging and dropping interactivity, this is much like reason, which is more close to the real process. I'll try this if I had time, but how could I have time?.......Good question......

hobnoxs audiotool is an online music studio that allows uses to combine various electronic instruments to create their own music. the application is designed by andre michelle and recently launched on the music website hobnox. the flash based application uses drag and drop interactivity to combine instruments, pedals and a variety of other modifiers. users can plug the devices in using virtual cords and mix tracks using every knob and button as if it were a physical instrument. users can choose a default setting ranging from a digital tone matrix to electro and drum and bass. however, more advanced users can build their own setup from scratch. once you create some music you like, audiotool even allows you to record your mix.

【10/03 Dalian】Come Back to My Blog

Since last week, my tor browser has never connected to the outer world. I asked my friends from my parametric design group, they offered me several solutions, such as "free gate""no border" blablabla....However, the result are the same UNABLE. Therefore, I could only survive the week through the agent, with many limits, for example can't upload the picture from my webpicasa.

Last night I casually clicked the tor icon without much hope, but surprised to see that my tor reconnected to the cyberspace again, which means I could freely browse and post anything~! This morning I also find it's available to log on my ning webpage again without the tor's help, another surprise!

Then I immediately change my blog settings to enable writing a post via email, which means I can just writing down my thoughts in an email then send it to a exclusive email address instead of using tor then log on my blog page to write down that, that is really convenient and a wonderful solution in case of another tor crash. By the way, this post is just writing in this way.

These days are still very busy, I think I'd be busy till the end of this semester, now I'm just editing the presentation for a big client, then comes my design assignments and foreign architecture history assignments, also the much more important work, our 3rd album.

【10/03 Dalian】 Ending of the HBC project

Long time no updating, seems that I would update it only once a month....

However, these days, we were struggling for the HBC projects. My dear boss and his partner and me, we three (maybe more in HK) made up the team for the competition. For me, it's the 1st time to join in a professional design team to do a professional international design competition.This precious experience totally changed my idea of how to do a competition, and I learned even more than that.

The 1st phase I was in home in Yantai, boss and SS in HK, for the 2nd phase I worked with my boss in Dalian in our small "workshop", which is actually in his hotel, I accompany him to the IEKA bought a large desk and two chairs, then some other stationary and modeling materials, that is our small "workshop",not so normal but it's enough and we spent one high efficient week there. The 3rd phase, which is the hardest,my boss flew back to HK to work with SS,and I worked in Dalian. A really memorable experience!

New year gift from my boss, I don't even have a time to open it, just when our project finished, that one occurred to me, which is really really veeeeeeeery nice! I got a new understanding of the word"chocolate".

During this period, I broke up my sleepless record, with 2 days less than 1h, what's the hell....My waist hurts badly, so does my eyes for sure....Everyday I need to switch between the different classrooms draging my sleeping body, and when night falls, I go back to my computer modeling and drawing the 2D or 3D files. Especially the last period, that is the 2 sleepless days, I have no time sleeping, no time resting, even no time having a meal. I felt that my future career perspective was just like this, but truly indeed, I like this kind of life.

I'd say our design are really fascinating. This design originates from both of me and my boss's idea. In this period, I learned really much from my boss, I've now got the whole idea of how a design come into being, I mean the whole process both in thinking and operating, besides, I also got the rough idea of what is team work, working separately and in the meanwhile collaborate with each other through both the 3D manual or computer aided model and the 2D files, as the progress goes.

My dearest sister told me in QQ:"Did u know, I dream that your design has won the 1st prize, and the award is a one week trip to Europe! " ....God bless so, but just as my boss said, "we can not control the result, u don't even know if there'r cheats in this, so our purpose is just to do what we like, which would also establish our firm's reputation and train the new staff in return."

Yep, do what we wanna do.

Happy New Year in My hometown.

At the beginning of the year 2010, I made up my mind to open my own blog, seems like an outdated approach. Whatever, the feeling of building a spiritual home for myself is getting stronger as long as my gradual understanding of the life.It took me several days to find a place to settle down. Finally I chose Blogger, the most famous one, but has the least Chinese user, which means most friends would not see it.... but it leaves me a relatively quiet place for individual thinking, I'm disgusted with the words "U've been 河蟹", here is free to talk about anything such as the lovely animals grass mud house. I wiped out most info on Xiaonei, including pictures, essays, status, Xiaonei would not be a safe place, but most of my friends are there, so I would still keep the account, and make it a "马甲".

I will write in English, in order to improve it, (such a common reason...) another advantage is that my foreign friends would also know my life, actually I think all my firends would easily understand my poor English, haha.

Here goes my rencent stories in Yantai:

I suppose this vacation would be the shortest but this winter vacation end with the longest. In the end of Jan, my boss told me that we would work on a project for the whole vacation. I wait for his information, then he said we are not sure so you can go back waiting...I went back home begin to play and eat, blablabla......One day boss phoned me, we will switch to another project, you can work at home, then we meet in Dalian in Feb 21. Then I settle down begin working in home, kind of SOHO, in the meanwhile, eat and reunion blablabla.....On Feb 20, boss phoned me, then I told him I've book tmr's ticket, he said oh, it's not 21,it's 27, oh my poor Mandarin....So I returned the ticket and eat and play for another week.......
